The Effect of Color
Not many people realize how much the look of a video/movie changes from the time it is shot to the final product. The color of the video has a tremendous effect on the mood and theme of the whole film. Colorists are extremely important in film because they are in charge of manipulating the color settings to give the project the perfect feel. This horror film called The House On Pine Street, shows the effect that color has on the tone of a film.

Before i read this i did not think about how much color has an impact on the film but now that i think about it, it makes total sense.

ReplyDeleteI'm sure you've realized this, but the link doesn't work. It might have helped to just embed the video into the post. You could find a tutorial online somewhere. It helps to have everything all on one page.
